Reviewed source material, created technical copy, followed Best Practice methods, and implemented the final build out following web standards.

Currently implementing content management (Adobe Contribute) functionality with an eye on improving the lab's web presence by keeping content fresh.

Coordinated and implemented strategies for screening pharmaceutical compounds for therapeutic benefit: success in obtaining broad range of promising drug candidates.
Organized planning materials, evaluated technical methods, and delegated actions across multi-disciplinary groups.
Evaluated fluorescent technical methods, delegated action plans across multi-disciplinary research groups and conducted experiments to create novel drug tests.
Attained success in tracking protein migration in mammalian cells by compiling fluorescent images and generating a quantitative "movie" of the process.
Facilitated outside technical collaborations: hosted effective technical communication and brokered resource commitments.

Developed a Candida albicans fitness assay for use in testing synthetic and natural extract compounds.
Adapted the assay for 384-well high throughput capacity.
Combined PCR based essential gene cloning, plasmid engineering, genomic database search and retrieval to generate gram-positive bacterial strains for drug screening.
Organized large data sets and created a database for efficient access of company proprietary information: biologics, drug screening tools, protocols, bacterial strain, genetic information.

Trained functional genomics team members on the GeneChip_ Instrument System.
Developed assays for quantifying specific mRNA targets using real time RT-PCR LightCycler and ABI Prism_ 7700 Sequence Detection System instrumentation and software.

Designed novel tissue-specific expression screens in Drosophila melanogaster:
Created P-element transgenic Drosophila strains utilizing embryological microinjection techniques.
Generated fusion proteins, isolated polyclonal antiserum, and stained retinal tissues to detect protein localization
Studied Nur77 mediated apoptosis in anti-CD3 antibody stimulated thymocytes and T-cell hybridomas using tissue culture methods, cell staining and flow cytometry techniques.

Implemented a high throughput automated sequencing project using ABI sequencers: mined data from subtracted cDNA libraries enriched for human lymphoid-restricted genes.
Organized and ran a weekly journal club.
Trained and coordinated a team of summer interns involved in the ABI_ automated sequencing project.
